The Challenge
Hidden Trail runs nine off-grid cabin rentals across the UK, mostly in the Lake District and Snowdonia. Their booking traffic was 80% through Airbnb — meaning 80% of revenue had Airbnb fees baked in.
The Solution
We built a direct-booking site with a smart calendar that handles their nine properties, their seasonal pricing, and their two-night minimum rule. The visual design leans into the off-grid feel — warm earth tones, real photography of the lodges in weather, no smiling-strangers stock photos.
Direct bookings climbed from 20% to 62% of total volume in the first season.
